Adobe develops Firefly generative models for creative work. Its February 2025 announcement states that Firefly training uses content Adobe has permission to use, including licensed Adobe Stock material and public-domain content.

The Adobe Stock relationship places Adobe on the demand side of the creative-data ecosystem. This profile concerns Adobe's own Firefly training sources; it does not describe the training data of every third-party model that may be available in Adobe products.

The cited announcement establishes licensed-content use, but does not offer a general dataset purchasing form, standard acquisition prices, or a guarantee that a contributor's asset will be selected. Adobe Stock licensing and a separately negotiated training-data deal should be assessed on their own terms.
